Intro To Tap - Ages 7-12
This class is for brand new tappers, or tappers continuing from a previous ballet/tap combo class. Covering basic tap steps, rhythms, and moving across the floor, dancers discover how to make music with their shoes while engaging their upper bodies in classic dance positions.

Intro to Ballet/Jazz - Ages 7-12
This class is for newcomers to ballet andjazz, or dancers who have taken Intro to Ballet/Jazz. We will learn ballet positions, arm movements, move across the floor, and jam out to fun music while starting to turn, jump, and more.
Ballet Slippers and Jazz shoes needed
For students with two years previous experience with the ballet/jazz classes, or approved byteacher. A continuation of barre work, center work, and across the floor with an emphasis on technique, posture, and putting ballet phrases together.
For beginning intermediate and intermediate ballet students with two to three years experience. A technique class necessary for dancers who want to maintain their strength and poise as well as improve balance and excel in turns and jumps.
For students with two years previous experience with the ballet/jazz classes, or approved byteacher. A continuation of stretches, isolations, turns, moving across the floor, and starting to work with stylized movement and phrases.
For beginning intermediate and intermediate jazz students with two to three years experience. Stretching and isolations will start the class, and then we will really get moving with leaps, turns, across the floor phrases, and stylized movement. We will be introducing musicaltheatre jazz in this summer class.
For students who have taken Intro to Tap. We will be taking steps we learned inintro class and adding new sounds, as well as combining them to make phrases. New across the floor movements and center floor steps will be taught.
A continuation of beginning tap, with a review of the more intricate steps we learned this past year. Working to add sounds to existing steps and starting to use more improvisation in class. Across the floor and center floor phrases will be the emphasis of this class.
For beginning intermediate and intermediate tap students with three years experience. A continuation of the intricate phrases we worked on this past year, as well as more practice with tricks and turns. Improvisation will be used in every class.
