Our organization currently serves over 100 keiki and teens ages 3-18.
Our students are offered a multitude of opportunities. They receive outstanding instruction from a distinguished staff, travel to other Hawaiian islands to study with master teachers, and perform at esteemed venues on Hawai’i Island such as the Four Seasons Hualalai Resort, Aloha Theatre, and the Kahilu Theatre. During community performances, the depth of the lessons our students learn extend far beyond pliés and pointing their toes. They learn self-discipline, self-awareness, perseverance, and collaboration skills. They learn skills that will be essential as they become career and/or college ready. Each performance helps the dancers build confidence and gives them opportunities to learn more about themselves as well as an opportunity to grow as a person.
If you are passionate about the impact of the performing arts on young lives, you also know that planning for the future of arts education is critical. Producing a high-quality educational program for youth is an expensive enterprise. Tuition alone does not cover operational costs for Kona Dance and Performing Arts; we need support from community members like you to ensure that performing arts education continues for the Kona Community.
