Dana Jon Mattos
is President of Kona Dance and Performing Arts. Dana currently is co-owner of Hawaii Coffee Connection in Kealakekua. Dana has an Associate’s Degree in Business Law/Administration of Justice, from Sierra College, Rocklin, California. A retired U.S. Army, Military Police Officer, and retired, Hawaii County Police Officer. Dana is the father of two daughters involved in the Dancing Arts, and hopes to provide similar opportunities to other children of the community.
is the Vice President of Kona Dance and Performing Arts. She is a Realtor at EXP Realty. and has children that have been involved in dance for over 8 years. As a board member Delania hopes to grow dance and theater opportunities for the Big Island community youth and would like to see Kona Dance and Performing Arts develop into a pillar of the community.
is the Secretary of Kona Dance and Performing Arts. She has been a high school teacher for fourteen years and has been a “dance” parent since 2012. As a board member for Kona Dance, Heather hopes to help provide continued opportunities for the Big Island youth and community to participate in dance and the performing arts.
is the Treasurer for Kona Dance & Performing Arts. She is co-owner of Hawaii Coffee Connection, a Hawaiian Coffee Food gifts distributor throughout the islands. Her daughters began their journey in dance six years ago and Laurie would like to continue dance for them and the community. Born and raised in Kealakekua, she understands the need for dance and performing arts education in all genres on the Big Island of Hawaii, especially in Kona. She is excited to support the mission of Kona Dance & Performing Arts.
is a Board Member/director of Kona Dance and Performing Arts. Chris is currently a Sales Account Manager for Bargreen Ellingson a Food service Supply and Design Corporation. Prior to his 8 years in Sales, he spent 12 years in Restaurant and Hotel Management. As a Board Member, he hopes to provide continued high quality Dance and Performing Arts instruction for his daughter and the Big Island youth.
is a board member/director of Kona Dance and Performing Arts. A Big Island resident since 2009, Jeff is currently a manager at Big Island Collision Center in Kona. Jeff is the father to four children including two daughters who have been involved in dance from a young age. As a board member, Jeff hopes to bring the same love of dance and performing arts to the community that his family has found.
