About the Course
Come learn the basics of ballet technique in a fun and supportive environment. The class will consist of a fun warm-up, simple barre exercises in the center and across the floor combinations.
Your Instructor
Eveline Carle
Eveline is a Montreal native who recently moved to the Big Island and is excited to continue sharing her love of the performing arts through Kona Dance. She owned and operated the Cape Cod Dance Center for 17 years. Ms. Carle received her training in Montreal, Canada at L'Ecole Supérieure de Danse du Quebec after which she danced with the internationally acclaimed company Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. She graduated from college with honors which allowed her to travel to Europe and work with several companies in France. Ms. Carle produced her first concert at the age of 16. Subsequently, she worked with companies in Boston, New York City, and continued to produce choreography, create her own performing group, and later operate her dance studio in Cape Cod. Ms. Carle is also the published author of Dancing Feat: A Dancer's Journey to 14 Golden Rules of Teaching.
