About the Course
It’s time to bring the house down with “The Art of Drag” Workshop! The Big Island’s own Hayzel Nuttz and Kona Dance and Performing Arts are thrilled to offer this workshop where you will dive into the art of illusion. Learn to transform your image through makeup, hair, and clothing. Practice taking charge of the stage and keeping the attention of the audience with stage presence and personality! Bring Makeup, heels, and anything else your alter ego needs to shine!
Your Instructor
Hayzel Nuttz
Hayzel Nuttz was born and raised in Waimea, HI and began training in Hula at a young age. She has performed professionally in Polynesian shows around the globe. Deciding to explore more of the dance and entertainment industry, Hazyl began hosting Heels Classes at Kuleana Wellness in Waimea, where her teaching focused on balance, core, strength, body movement, musicality, dance, and expression.
