Joining the fundraising committee presents a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the dance studio's financial sustainability and help secure the resources needed to enhance the dance programs and provide enriching experiences for all dancers involved.

Board of Directors

By volunteering for a board of director position at Kona Dance, you can play a pivotal role in shaping its strategic direction, making important decisions, and ensuring its long-term success as a thriving center for artistic expression and community engagement.

Flyer Committee

  • Assist with posting flyers on community poster boards in the area of your choice (Kona, Kealakekua, Captain Cook)

  • Distributing flyers to Local Schools for Distribution

Filling Water

Dispenser Jugs

Fill 2-5 gallon water jugs for our water cooler, and bring them to Kona Dance.  We go through 1 to 2 five-gallon jugs per week.  You will be reimbursed for the cost of the water. Must be able to lift a 5 gallon jug of water.

Plant Care/Landscaping

Light plant care in our parent waiting area weekly and pruning of our sidewalk plants quarterly.

Housekeeping

Light housekeeping of studio monthly (such as dusting overhead areas, sweeping hard to reach areas, cleaning mirrors, floor mop) assist with Marley Taping Studio B floor when needed
