As a non-profit organization, Kona Dance and Performing Arts is run by a board of directors. Our board members are volunteers and focus on seeking funding to support and maintain overall operations of the studio. The board also plays a large role in furthering the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Join our Board
We’re looking for energetic individuals who are interested in supporting a successful non-profit board. Kona Dance is in it's 10th year with a mission to “To provide high quality education and instruction in dance and performing arts to the local youth and the Big Island Community”. Our Board of Directors works support this mission by seeking funding, community opportunities in the arts, and overseeing the studio operations.
The Kona Dance and Performing Arts Board of Directors is a passionate, committed group who are dedicated to the Mission, Vision and Values of this organization.

Primary Goals
1. Fiduciary Responsibility
To ensure that organizational resources are used wisely and to meet the mission in compliance with the law.
2. Strategic
To develop and carry out a strategic vision for the organization with a goal of longevity in the community.

To oversee the general operations of Kona Dance in alignment with the mission, vision and core values.
