Jaden Nachand

Pre-Ballet, Acro, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet

Jaden Nachand has been dancing for 20 years, she grew up as a competitive dancer in Portland, Oregon, competing and attending conventions throughout Oregon, Washington, California, and Nevada. While she is trained in all styles of dance, she is particularly fond of tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop and acro. As a world traveler and lover of all different cultures including her own (Panamanian and Native American) she loves to bring those cultures into her dancing and likes to step out of the box in her teaching! In class she focuses on the roots of dance, dance history, musicality and creative freedom!

She has taught and choreographed at Studio One Dance Academy, and The Independent Dance Project in Oregon. She also was a teacher at Studio Respect on O’ahu. After finishing college on O’ahu, she also began instructing line dancing and country swing. She continues to guest teach on O’ahu and in the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington area whenever she is in town.

Having recently relocated and made the Big Island her home, she is stoked to continue her teaching career here in Kona and share her love of dance with new students.
